NEET 2020 exam dates have been postponed to September, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokriyal announced.

NEET 2020 Exam Date has been revised. National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is the national level examination conducted by the National testing Agency. NEET 2020 will be conducted on 13th September 2020. The exam is organized once in a year. It is the undergraduate level examination conducted for admission to medical courses such as MBBS/BDS. NEET Pre-Examination Dates

The notification for NEET 2020 has been released on 2nd December 2019. NEET 2020 application form has been released from 2nd December 2019. Students will be able to pay the fee till 7th January 2020.

The last date to submit the application form will be till 6th January 2020. NEET 2020 Application Form Correction has been started from 15th January 2020. Successfully registered candidates will get NEET 2020 admit card in the month of August 2020. NEET 2020 exam will be organized on 13th September 2020 (pen and paper based mode).

NEET Post-Examination Dates

After the successful completion of NEET 2020 exam, students will be able to check the NEET 2020 answer key within a week after the completion of examination. The provisional answer key will be released in the month of September 2020. Students after release of provisional answer key will be able to challenge it and submit responses.

Final Answer Key will be released 2nd to 3rd week of September 2020. NEET 2020 Result can be checked from September 2020. The NEET 2020 Cut Off will be also published along with the declaration of result. Successful candidates will be invited to the counselling process. NEET counselling will be started from October 2020. Candidates participating the counselling process will have to register for the counselling rounds as per the counselling schedule which will be released separately by the authority.

NEET 2020 Application Form

The application process of NEET 2020 has been started from 2nd December 2019. It is organized by NTA in online mode. Students who will fulfill complete eligibility criterion will be able to fill the application form. All the details in the form must be submitted correctly before the last date of submission which is till 6th January 2020. Students must avoid submitting multiple application forms.

In case of any mistake in the form, students may be provided with the correction facility. Through this facility students are able to correct mistakes in the details or images and then resubmit the form. Correction facility has been provided from 15th to 31st January 2020. No further correction in the application will be allowed after the last correction date.

NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam duration will be 3 hours.

NEET 2020 Marking scheme will be as follows:

Answer marked and is right: +4.

Answer marked and is wrong: -1. (This is negative marking)

After the answer key challenge NTA finds that a question has more than one correct answer then: +4.

If NTA drops a question then all candidates get: +4.

No answer selected: 0.

NEET 2020 Exam Syllabus

Medical Council of India has defined the NEET exam syllabus. It comprises physics, chemistry, biology topics taught in classes 11th and 12th in Indian education boards such as CBSE. NCERT books are recommended for NEET preparation thus. Though most topics are common, it is wise to go through the topics list once.

The Subjects wise NEET 2020 syllabus are as follows:

Physics Topics of Class 11th:

Physical world and measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves.

Physics Topics of Class 12th:

Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices.

Chemistry Topics of Class 11th:
