The NEET 2024 results are in, and congratulations to all the aspiring doctors! Now comes the crucial next step: NEET Counselling. • MCC (Medical Counselling Committee): Manages counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and Deemed Universities.
• State Counselling Authorities : Handle admissions for remaining 85% state quota seats and private medical colleges within their state.

• Starting with NEET (UG) 2024, admission to all seats in BAMS (Ayurveda), BSMS (Siddha), BUMS (Unani), and BHMS (Homeopathy) programs will be based on NEET scores.

This applies to government, government-aided, private, and deemed universities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• To be eligible for admission, you need to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually.

Minimum marks requirement:

• General Category: 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.

• Reserved Categories (SC, ST, OBC): 40% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.

• Minimum age for admission: 17 years by December 31st of the admission year.

Admission Quota:

• All India Quota (Government, Government-aided institutions, Deemed Universities, private)

• State Government Quota/Institutional Quota

• Central Universities/National Institutes

Reservation of Seats:

• Reservation policies will apply as per the Central Government guidelines for All India Quota seats.
